Blitzball Labs, a brand operated by Beijing Shandianqiu Entertainment Co., Ltd. (北京市闪电球娱乐有限公司) ("we", "us"), builds local-first software. Our applications run on your own hardware and can work fully offline — Blitz DAW and CloseCrab do not require us to collect your projects, audio or code. This Privacy Policy explains the limited personal data we do collect through our website, accounts and licensing system, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to blitzball.lol and our online services, not to data that stays on your device.
We try to collect as little as possible. The desktop apps are local-first; your creative work stays on your machine unless you choose to share it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not store full payment card numbers.
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (accounts, licenses, purchases); your consent (where asked, e.g. optional analytics); and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), balanced against your rights.
We use minimal browser storage. Our website stores your language preference in localStorage (key bb_lang) so your chosen language persists. Account login may use a session cookie or token to keep you signed in. Our self-hosted analytics is designed to be lightweight and does not use third-party advertising cookies.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and license data for as long as your account/license is active and as required for our records, tax and legal obligations; analytics data for a limited period in aggregate form. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and signed license tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@blitzball.lol. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Our servers and providers may be located in regions different from yours, so your data may be transferred and processed across borders. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
